A thread may raise separate questions about appearance and retained performance after exposure. Looking only at whether the colour seems unchanged leaves part of the technical review unanswered.
Coats discusses UV resistance and its relevance to sewing-thread performance. Coats — UV Resistance in Sewing Threads.
Define the requirement
For a proposed outdoor textile application, identify which property needs evidence and under which exposure conditions. Do not translate a broad UV-resistant description into an unsupported service-life promise.

Review the assembly boundary
Supplier information about a thread helps evaluate an input; the finished join and other materials have their own requirements. Keep those evidence scopes distinguishable. Any product claim should follow the actual material, method and evaluated conditions rather than a generic catalogue adjective.
