A Logic Model Separates Activities From Intended Impact — concept overview: Design activity, Immediate output, Intended outcome.

A Logic Model Separates Activities From Intended Impact

Producing a cultural character does not by itself demonstrate a change in audience understanding. A logic model helps state the steps and assumptions between the activity and the intended outcome.

IDEO.org describes logic models as narratives connecting a solution to change over time. IDEO.org Design Kit — Create A Logic Model.

Identify the intermediate step

For a museum-character concept, distinguish distributing an item from visitors engaging with its story. Explain the mechanism the team expects to connect those events.

Test the assumption

Choose suitable indicators and evidence for the intended outcome. Do not substitute production quantities or social views for a different impact claim. The model is a proposal about how change may happen, and its uncertain links should remain visible during evaluation.
