Using Dark and Bright Fruit Characters in One Plush Display

A fruit display does not need every character at the same brightness. Durian, mangosteen and passion fruit references let you compare contrasting visual weights before adding more colours to the selection.

Find the anchor first

Place the darkest-looking reference at the centre of a simple layout, then move it to an edge. Notice how the other fruit forms read around it. This is a composition test; it says nothing about which item will sell fastest or which fabric will match under shop lighting.

Leave space around distinctive outlines

An irregular silhouette can lose its identity when it touches another busy shape. Try fewer items in the first arrangement. Use blank spacing cards if you do not yet have physical samples, and mark the layout provisional because photographed proportions are not reliable measurements.

Once the group feels clear, request the dimensions and selected colour references. Use the physical products to confirm the final layout rather than treating a screen mock-up as a shelf-ready plan.
