For small round fruit characters, the surface and top details may do most of the identifying work. Compare bayberry, lychee and rambutan references in close-up as well as in the complete product view.
Do not judge texture from colour alone
A similar colour palette can hide the differences you need to review. Put the images on a neutral page and note the visible surface treatment, face position and overall outline. Keep observations separate from material claims: a textured appearance does not establish a fabric composition or filling type.

Use a detail photo with a purpose
Choose a second image that explains the surface cue, rather than another almost identical front photograph. A third view should show how that detail relates to the whole body. This gives a buyer a reason to look through the image sequence.

When requesting a sample, identify the surface effect you want preserved. Ask for the material and construction proposal in writing instead of translating an image impression into an unverified specification.
