Bag or Box for Plush Packaging? Decide from the Selling Format

Choose a plush bag or box around how the product will be handled, displayed and given to the recipient. There is no single best format for every character. Compare the proposed packing with the actual product and the retailer's workflow.

Think about visibility

A buyer selecting the Cherry Pair may want the connected composition to be visible. Ask whether the proposed pack keeps the two characters recognisable and shows the product reference clearly. A package that looks attractive in isolation may hide the feature the customer is choosing.

Consider the complete handover

Will a shop display the item unpacked, sell it in its outer pack or place it inside another gift package? Does staff need to open and reseal it? These practical questions help narrow the format before artwork is produced.

For a box, review the insert or holding arrangement as well as the printed exterior. For a bag, check the product's position and the location of labels. Confirm the actual material and dimensions with the supplier rather than inferring them from a mock-up.

Compare packing and shipping separately

Individual presentation and shipping protection are related but different jobs. Ask how the retail packs will be arranged in the outer carton. Do not assume that a gift box makes additional transit packing unnecessary.

Should the most elaborate packaging be chosen?

Only when it suits the project. Additional structure and printing introduce decisions to review. A simpler format can be appropriate, but it still needs a clear reference, a defined supplied unit and suitable order-specific packing information.

Include the intended selling format in your packaging enquiry alongside the selected product and quantity.
