A custom plush sample review is most useful when the feedback points to observable details. A simple checklist helps different reviewers compare the same features and reduces the chance of conflicting comments. Keep the approved brief and artwork beside the sample so the review stays connected to the project you actually requested.
Confirm the version being reviewed
Record the sample identifier, the artwork version and the requirements used for comparison. Note who is reviewing it and which questions remain open. Without a shared version reference, a comment may accidentally refer to an earlier concept or a detail that has already changed. Keep photographs and notes together in one review record.
Check silhouette and expression
Compare the overall outline, head-to-body relationship and placement of the facial details. Review the front, sides and back rather than judging from a single flattering angle. When something feels wrong, describe the visible difference: eyes too far apart, mouth lower than the artwork or leaves hiding the face.

Compare dimensions and specified details
Measure the dimensions that were agreed for review and record the results in the same units. Check the requested colours, clothing, labels and accessory placement against the confirmed brief. Do not invent acceptance tolerances during the review; discuss the criteria with the project team and document them explicitly.
Separate appearance feedback from other checks
A sample that looks right does not, by appearance alone, establish material composition, intended age suitability or compliance documentation. Keep those requirements in their own verification list. Ask for the information and checks appropriate to the actual design, use and destination market instead of inferring them from a photograph.

Send one consolidated revision list
Group comments by feature and give each requested change a clear reference image. Separate essential corrections from optional preferences and unanswered questions. Ask the team to acknowledge the list so both sides understand what will be reviewed next. Avoid sending different versions of feedback through several unrelated conversations.
End the review with a clear status: changes requested, questions pending or approved for the specifically stated next step. Do not let a general positive comment substitute for a recorded decision about the sample and the remaining requirements.
