A custom plush enquiry is easier to assess when the design and ordering assumptions are visible from the beginning. You do not need to know every answer before contacting the project team. You do need to distinguish your requirements from confirmed terms and identify the questions that could change the scope.
Describe the design and its status
Share the artwork or concept reference and explain whether it is a finished design, an early sketch or a mood board. Include any front, side and back views you have. Identify the details that must remain and confirm your permission to use the supplied character and brand artwork for the intended project.
State the target size and quantity
Give the target size with a clear measurement reference, such as overall height. State the quantity you want discussed and whether you are comparing more than one quantity scenario. Do not assume a minimum order or unit price from another product. Ask for project-specific terms and keep different scenarios clearly labelled.

Explain the destination and timing
Provide the destination country or region and the date by which the project is needed. Distinguish a requested arrival date from an agreed dispatch date. Ask how sampling, approvals, production and delivery would be addressed for your project. Avoid treating a general workflow description as a commitment to a particular schedule.
List requirements beyond the character
Include packaging preferences, branding, label information and intended user group. Note any documentation or testing requirements that need discussion for the destination and use. If a requirement is undecided, mark it as open rather than copying a specification from an unrelated catalogue item.

Compare responses on the same basis
Keep the design version, quantity, size, packaging and delivery assumptions beside each response. Separate sample charges, product pricing and other stated costs where applicable, without filling gaps with estimates presented as facts. Ask what is included and which conditions could lead to a revised quotation.
Send a concise enquiry with attachments clearly named and a numbered list of open questions. The aim is a discussion that both sides can review against the same brief, followed by explicit confirmation of the terms needed for the next step.
