A small staff-pick card works best when it gives one concrete reason to notice a character. It does not need a paragraph of exaggerated praise or an invented customer favourite claim.
Connect the reason to the visible item
Point to the straw motif, swirl shape or bow detail actually shown. Keep the product name or reference available so staff can identify the correct item. If the card accompanies a proposed display rather than a current offer, label that status.

Keep the card and product together
Check that the card remains beside the intended reference after replenishment or a display reset. A generic “our favourite” label can drift to another product and lose its meaning. Do not include a price unless it comes from the current confirmed offer.

Review the card at normal reading distance. One clear sentence and an accurate reference can be more useful than a busy design that hides the character it is meant to introduce.
