What a Plush Wholesale Line Sheet Should Let a Buyer Compare

A line sheet should let a buyer compare product identity, options and enquiry details without opening a full marketing page for every item. Use consistent columns and a clear image for each reference. Keep unknown commercial details marked as unconfirmed rather than filling them with assumptions.

Give each row a clear identity

Useful fields include product name, catalogue reference, image, selected option and the buyer's proposed quantity. The Raspberry should not share a generic berry label with a strawberry. Surface texture and fruit shape may be the very reasons the buyer is choosing between them.

Use the same names and references as the product pages. If a buyer uses an internal SKU, include it in a separate column.

Add confirmed commercial information only

Dimensions, packing, price, order requirements and sample details can be added when provided for the actual selection. State the currency and context of any quoted amount. An empty online price field does not mean free, unavailable or a fixed wholesale price.

For preliminary discussions, a line sheet can simply identify the products and the information being requested.

Keep the document useful on screen

Use consistent image proportions and avoid long paragraphs inside a row. Link each reference to the relevant product page for more detail. Put extended custom-development questions in the brief rather than squeezing them into the product-name column.

Is a line sheet the same as a specification sheet?

No. A line sheet supports comparison across a range. A specification sheet records the agreed details of one selected product or version. The two documents should use compatible references.

Start from the PLUSHIP catalogue, then ask for the order-specific details needed to complete the sheet.
